Fastest way to waste $400+
byFastest way to waste $400+ Barely alerts the parent unit of any noise, I will hear my baby cough or cry through the walls and the parent unit wouldn’t register it at all. Forget the motion detection as that doesn’t work. Then Vtech updated the software and it’s even worse. I will be contacting Vtech to try for a refund/return today.

byThis was our second Vtech monitor; our first was a different model and kept disconnecting but the picture quality was amazing. Once I opened this monitor and turned it on I quickly realised that the picture quality was extremely poor! I’m going to steer clear of Vtech!

Great Camera - but check it works!
byBought this camera and the image was great, loved the parent monitor, etc. However camera 1 was faulty and all items needed to be returned, as cameras and parent units cannot be separated. Second set comes, great no fault like the previous one, however this one won't connect to the wifi and cannot control audio levels for white noise on parent monitor (only on phone app?). Returns is not a headache, but a lengthy process of back and forth between Vtech and BB. If you buy this product, check it works asap and all features function correctly.

An amazing all-round monitor
byI’ve been wanting to purchase this monitor for a while. I finally got it last week, and I am so happy with it. I’ve had another (cheaper) brand for a few years, and the Bain reason I wanted to upgrade to this one is because of the two camera/split screen feature. The quality of the images are amazing. So clear. Occasionally the images can lag and pixelate a little bit, but very rarely and corrects itself within a few seconds. The parent unit is user friendly, very easy to navigate and you can control the white noise, lullabies, and night light on the camera from the parent unit. The night light feature is very cool, lots of different colour choices and transitions, and it is bright enough to do a nappy change and feed with it on. Battery life is amazing. I’ve had the monitor off charger for 12 hours and the battery still hasn’t run out. We’ve got a double story house and the range has been great all over the house. I haven’t taken the monitor outside yet to test it, but I like that if it does drop out of range if we’re in the garden (or away from the house), you can open the app on your phone and see the cameras. You don’t have to set up the wi-fi feature if you choose not to. I definitely recommend this screen size for the split screen feature. It means you can see both cameras very clearly. Super happy with this monitor!
