While not everyone requires a breast pump, renting a hospital-grade double breast pump can be a budget-friendly way to support and maintain your milk supply. Our Breast Pump Hire service is available at select Baby Bunting locations.

Pricing

  • Required bond for pump hire: $250
  • Required kit purchase: $76.95 Medela Symphony Breast Pump Double Kit

You can choose to hire a pump for either 1 month or 3 months, and extend the hire period if necessary:

  • 1 Month Hire: $130
  • 3 Months Hire: $360
  • Additional Length of Hire: $35 per extra week

Note: Some health insurance companies may cover hire fees. Please contact your provider directly for more information.

To return the pump at the end of your hire period or to request an extension, please contact or visit your chosen store. Terms and conditions of hire can be found here.

Symphony Breast Pump Double Kit

The purchase of a Medela Symphony Breast Pump Double Kit is required when hiring a Medela Symphony hospital-grade breast pump from one of our selected stores.

The kit is ideal for long-term and/or frequent pumping, with a closed system which is more hygienic and improves the pump's lifespan. It's lightweight, coming in at under 3kg and comes with portable hard carry case. Suitable for single or double pumping.

Kits are available in S (21mm), M (24mm) or L (27mm) and can be purchased in store when commencing your hire. Each kit includes:

  • 2 x PersonalFit PLUS breast shield (21mm, 24mm or 27mm)

  • 2 x PersonalFit PLUS connector with lid

  • 2 x PersonalFit PLUS membrane

  • 2 x PersonalFit PLUS tubing

  • 2 x PersonalFit PLUS cap

  • 2 x Bottle 150ml with print

  • 2 x Multi lid
