VTech Video & Audio Monitor with 2 Cameras RM5756HD

Worst product and not worth the very hefty price tag. Used this for a year and a half before purchasing from a different brand. It constantly disconnects from the camera and goes blurry. The stand on our monitor broke, which was originally replaced. The stand then broke again and the antenna snapped off. It’s all super cheap and flimsy. VTech refused to do anything about it and wouldn’t replace it even though the product was faulty. We purchased from tweety cam and it is so much better! Would never buy from VTech again.

I’ve had this monitor for almost two years now and it’s terrible. We paid extra for the dual monitors and the first monitor does not connect - we’ve tried resetting both the monitor and parent unit multiple times. Not to mention, the video quality is terrible and the volume is far too low. Super disappointing for the price point - absolutely regret buying this product.

I bought for my second child. Have been very disappointed. There is a light inside the coloured bottom section that is always illuminating. Design flaw. If hung on the wall, cannot move around to see whole room. Toddler broke the antenna off after its catchment snapped easily. Trying to connect each camera is such a drama. And only one camera can be viewed on the online portal

Fantastic quality video, 2 cameras makes it much easier.

I purchased this 8 months ago. The connection IS AWFUL. Constantly drops out, yet our internet is perfectly fine. (Not that you need wifi to connect them through the monitor) And it will make a constant beeping noise repeatedly all night long until it’s reconnected. The quality is far from HD, our old VTech camera has better picture quality. It’s disappointing with the price tag. I do not recommend this product.

Brought this 7 months ago and just used it as I've put my baby in his own room and I can barely hear them cry even after adjusting the settings and do not feel safe leaving my baby alone to sleep.

Brought this 3 months ago after reading auch great reviews and it was honestly the worst mistake. It ALWAYS disconnects on camera 2, always blue screen (as per poster below review) - no matter how i connect it. Camera 2 just disconnects in the middle of a nap at random times. It's so frustrating, I want to throw it so many times daily! It's so disappointing as we spent so much on it. Vtech are absoloutley the worst at customer service to, advising we need to reset it (done) or update it (they indicate it didn't need it). Otherwise to bring to a baby bunting, I live regionally so I can't. Their solution was to send it off, however I can't as my 2 children won't have a monitor???? Asides from the poor connection, WHEN it does connect its blurry and very pixalated at times. (WiFi router is less than 5m away)

Terrible product. Don’t waste your money. We’ve had this monitor for the past six months and I want to throw it from the balcony daily. It loses connection constantly. Every time it does it makes this irritating beeping noise. Three little beeps just to remind you that you wasted your money. I regret buying it and truly hope you don’t make the same mistake.

I love all the features! We haven’t put it to the test yet, as bub hasn’t arrived. But we’ve had a play around with it and it seems to do everything we wanted.

Good quality resolution, good screen size, easy to use, has options to play music and white noise, there are options to watch via your mobile phone, the camera can work as a night, you can watch one camera at a time or watch them both at the same time (split screen), there are noise and motion detection sensors. Nothing to fault. Wish I bought this sooner.

Doesn’t quite compare to older vtech monitor. Previous model kept dropping out after 26months. This unit is simple to use however volume is quite low, even at its max, and doesn’t enable you to hear the monitor unless baby cries or talks (doesn’t pick up white noise in background, so sometimes unsure if it’s dropping out or not, great for overnight but during day can be frustrating). Screen is clear however almost too much zoom Screens dims nicely for overnight but can’t really see it during the day when it dims. Only able to connect to 1 mobile device as kicks other off. We needed to replace old model and get a duo as 2 babies on a 2nd storey. Connection requires wifi regardless if in same room or on another level. Positives - it does what we generally need it to do, might be just some adjusting from what we were use too, multiple light colours, screen is incredible clear (when connection is good). Great panorama view if you need it.

Good clear picture. Seems to be much better connection than the older models. I had an old one and had to return it under warranty. This one has been great so far. The app is a bit better but still a bit clunky. The panoramic view is great to get a whole view of the room.
