Avent Anti-Colic Teats 2 Pack 3+ Months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These nipples are a great fit for the Philips Avent Anti-Colic bottles, which I exclusively use for my baby. They attach easily and securely to the top of the bottle and I don’t need to strain to take them off either when cleaning the bottles. They are easy to wash as well so residue from formula never has a chance to accumulate. Formula doesn’t drip out of these nipples no matter which direction you’re holding the bottle. However, I have noticed some air bubbles making their way inside the bottle during feeding time. My baby has been using these types of nipples since birth so there was no rejection from him when trying out these nipples when he reached 3 months. However, he is not quite ready for the level three nipples (formula came out too quickly for him to swallow )so we went back to the stage 2 ones shortly after trying this one. However, we will definitely be using these in the future - just as soon as he can handle the increased flow. By the way, it’s easy to tell what flow rate the nipple is since it’s clearly indicated on multiple sides of the nipple, so there is no confusion as to which flow rate nipple is being used. The nipples are consistent, and fit securely onto the Philips Avent Anti-Colic bottle with no leaking. It’s been super helpful that the kit contains 4 nipples so there is always at least one that is washed/clean and dry. My baby is 4 months old now and the flow is a great pace - quick enough so that she’s not getting frustrated but also slow enough to prevent gulping/gas and she has taken to them quickly (baby approved)! The nipples are great quality and have held up through multiple washes and the sterilizer several times with no warping/changes. If you already use the Philips Avent Anti-Colic bottles, these durable and effective nipples are a clear-cut choice! These nipples work with the Phillips avent anti colic bottle system, and having different sizes was such a blessing. Thank you Stellar product testing panel for sending me these as they answered my husbands prayers!! He does the bottle feeding and has complained about cleaning bottles ( which with extra nipples and easy to clean bottles he doesn’t get upset with now!) and the flow rate/ she would get fussy when the flow wasn’t fast enough so now we know to adjust the nipple either up or down. We go down when she’s just wanting the comfort and maybe some milk, and then up when we know she’s hungry. We used a different product for our first 2 and it honestly makes such a difference being able to adjust flow. I loved how they came in a pack so I didn’t have a ton of one that we didn’t need. The numbers are also easy to read on the nipple so even newbs like dad can help! They fit easily within the Phillips system, literally just pop them in and pull them till there’s a seal! But every baby is different and mine doesn’t usually like talking a bottle, but she will when the flow rate is right( like with these).

I really wanted to like these nipples, but they just didn’t work well for my two-month-old. The best part is that they fit securely on the bottles we have—no leaks there—and they’re simple enough to attach and clean. The design feels sturdy, so at first I thought they’d be a good option. The problem is the flow. Even though these are supposed to be anti-colic, the flow was way too fast for a younger baby. My little one would cough and struggle to keep up, which kind of defeats the purpose of a soothing, calm feed. It felt like he was gulping more than drinking comfortably, and that made me second-guess using them altogether. Overall, I liked the fit and quality, but the flow rate just wasn’t right for our stage, so we won’t be sticking with them. May come in handy though when our little one is a bit older. Pros: secure fit, sturdy design, easy to clean/attach Cons: flow way too fast for younger babies, made my baby cough

I noticed he was fussing at the nipple and unhappy, so I switched to the level three nipple at 3 1/2 months. I would suggest that if you are unsure, like I was, you should follow the guidance on the box. My little man is so much happier and GUZZLES his bottle down, cooing and chatting afterwards. No fuss with these Avent Anti-colic bottles and so much less gas. Make sure you screw the lid on very tightly, so that there is no spillage. These are also super easy to clean and assemble, unlike other nipples that you have to align just perfectly or they will pop out. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips Avent Anti-Colic Nipples 4-pack is the perfect way to continue to use your Anti-colic baby bottles as your child grows. My 3 month old just started using the size 3 nipple and it’s a little fast of a flow rate right now, but she’ll grow into them soon and be able to easily use them for the next 3 months. I really liked how they mimic a natural nipple shape and my daughter had no issues with nipple confusion when breast or bottle feeding. They are very easy to clean and use, I found it interesting that the top of the nipple is crushed in the lid of the bottle, making it a possibility of leaking if it’s turned upside-down. My son has missed the window for optimal success with bottle feeding, but he will take a little bit from these nipples, which is better than other ones we have tried. The flow seems right for his age. Fits perfectly to the bottle and easy to clean with a nipple brush or just my pinky finger with dish soap.

As a NICU nurse and mom to now three children; I know how important it is to have a good nipple that is easy and quick to clean. My 2 month old daughter loves the wide nipple of this Avent bottle as it’s similar to breastfeeding. Having a bottle nipple more similar to a breast allows other people to be able to bottle feed my daughter while I am away and unable to nurse her. That is such a relief! The nipples easily and securely fits into the bottle and does not leak, which is a huge win. The flow rate seems to be consistent with the age range, she isn’t struggling with it being too fast or too slow. My only con with these nipples is the texture. My daughter took some time adjusting to the smoothness of the nipple. The other Avent bottle she sometimes uses has a slightly rougher texture nipple.

I like that these nipples display the flow size right on the side of the nipple. They fit well with the bottle and were easy to take out for cleaning. The size 2 flow worked pretty good for my daughter. She gets a little hangry when it's time to eat and once she got the hang of drinking out of this nipple, she settled down. The flow was perfect for her. My only caution for other moms is that it did take her a couple tries to adjust to the nipple. Once she was used to it, it worked well.

It’s easy to use, and it definitely works against colic with the suction on the side which is the air free vent. It truly takes air out of the nipple. The nipple is the right elasticity, it’s not too firm like I’ve noticed with others so my babe is able to get a good latch and transfer efficiently They’re super easy to clean and don’t take up a huge amount of room on the drying rack.
