What are car seat extensions & hooks used for?
Our range of hooks, extensions, and other accessories, are designed to enable your car seat to be properly fitted to the vehicle to maximise the safety of your little one while travelling.
Car seat extension straps (also known as tether extenders) are designed to connect the tether strap of your car restraint with the anchor point of your vehicle. Our clips (such as the Safe N Sound Gated Buckle and the Infa Exactus) are designed for use when your child restraint is installed with your vehicle seatbelt (as opposed to using ISOFIX points) -- they help 'lock' your seatbelt in place, reducing the amount of loosening over time. Even with a clip, it's still important to check your install before each journey.
