My son snapped the the rubber cable within a week trying to get out.

I bought the Houdini Strap with low expectations and mild scepticism, because anything named after a magician feels like marketing fluff. I was wrong. Painfully wrong. And happy to be so. This thing does exactly what it says it will do it holds. Relentlessly. Without complaint. Without slipping. Without the dramatic loosening that usually happens five minutes after you leave the house. My toddler has worn it through school runs, housework while in his highchair, sitting in his stroller, and generally existing within any sitting confines. As a tired adult, and at no point did the child try to escape and the strap never give up on me. Unlike most things in my life. It’s comfortable, adjustable, and somehow manages to stay put without cutting off circulation or reminding the child it’s there every time he moves. A rare balance of strength and emotional stability. No gimmicks. No nonsense. Just a strap that quietly does its job like a reliable friend who doesn’t need praise or reassurance. Would recommend. If this strap were a person, I’d trust it with my keys and my sanity.

The Houdini Stop Car Seat Chest Clip helps keep my Grandson from escaping from his Car seat when the car is in motion. It gives me peace of mind to know he is secure and enjoying the trip without the stress of having to stop and get him secured again when he thinks he s had enough.

Keeps my little Houdini in her seat. Easy to do up and undo but child can't do it.

I was surprised this worked for my 2 year old son and he actually is happy to wear it! No more wiggling out of the straps of his car seat!

First use did nothing he still got his arms out 🤦‍♀️ guessing because of the rubber between just stretches.

My child has only just turned 2 and this worked for 10 seconds tops. If he's distracted it's kind of a deterrent but certainly not for Houdini's.

Our 3 year old would always pull the straps down to his side. This gadget has done wonders! He has not wiggled himself out if it and its been a month.

The emergency tag does not work well to release the strap.

Great product. 3 year old has not managed nor tried to get out once ( a previous routine arms out child!) I'm pretty impressed and do recommend.

As a grandmother, i am surprised how much more active young children are now, than when their parents were the same age. The Houdini strap is a god sent. It keeps even the most devious and clever toddler within his seat. It also saved me from a hefty fine.
