Each year, over 48,000 babies are admitted to Neonatal Intensive Care Units or Special Care Nurseries across Australia- that's approximately 1 in 7 babies. Life's Little Treasures Foundation is an Australian charity dedicated to providing critical information, emotional and financial assistance as well as connection opportunities to families of children born sick or prematurely.
Baby Bunting is proud to support Life’s Little Treasures Foundation’s Walk for Prems for the 10th year running. Walk for Prems is the foundation’s largest annual fundraiser, helping families navigate the unexpected emotional and financial challenges of having a baby born sick or premature.
Last year, our Baby Bunting team, customers and suppliers raised an incredible $414,746, and we can’t wait to make an even bigger impact this year. This year’s fundraising runs from 8 September to 2 November 2025. You can help by simply donating at checkout online or in-store. Every donation helps!
Life’s Little Treasures Foundation provides practical and emotional support, information and resources to families of babies born prematurely or sick. Founded in 2005 by parents who had experienced this first-hand, LLTF truly understands the challenges that these families face. LLTF services are available in hospital and in the community when families come home.
In 2025, Walk for Prems will take place in October across 20 locations nationwide, uniting families, friends and communities to raise vital funds and awareness. This year, to mark Life’s Little Treasures Foundation’s 20th anniversary, the event will be elevated with the launch of The Mighty Trek Challenge - a 900km journey from Sydney to Melbourne, where an incubator will be pushed through specific locations to honour the strength, hope and resilience of families with premature and sick babies. You can take part in Walk for Prems events, join The Mighty Trek Challenge at selected locations along the route, or participate virtually from anywhere in October.
Life's Little Treasures Foundation is here to provide you with friendship, support and information. To help you through difficult periods. Having someone to talk with who you know truly understands the journey you are on can make things so much easier for you.

A year after having their first born at 35 weeks, Tori and Stuart found out they were expecting twins!
Pregnancy was smooth until, at 24 weeks, Tori's waters suddenly broke. After being rushed to their local hospital and flown to Mercy Hospital for Women in Melbourne, she had an emergency C-section.
"Lyla spent 119 days in the NICU, HDU & SCN. Each day felt long and hard. It always felt like one step forward, two steps back. She was on breathing support, required countless procedures, medications and blood transfusions. The journey was long and terrifying and the pain indescribable. We are so thankful for the extraordinary care", says Tori.
"Lyla is now a healthy three-year-old and we are so incredibly proud of her. We may not have brought our two beautiful babies home, but we know our Hudson is here with us, watching over us from above", says Tori.
It's so important to us to help raise funds for organisations like LLTF. It's our way of giving back to those who supports us.
As a cause very close to our hearts, Life's Little Treasures Foundation provides a vital source of information and support for families enduring the most difficult of circumstances. We are determined to continue supporting the incredible work they undertake to help ensure the best possible health and wellbeing for these families.
