VTech Baby Starlight Sounds Polar Bear

Love this bear. Sound settings are 15,30 or 45 mins. You can play stories or lullaby’s or outdoor sounds and also change the colours of the stars. Either different colours taking it in turns or just have the one colour flashing. I like red because it’s darker and red light is good for sleeping. Then if my baby moves or cries the bear lights up playing soft music and sounds. My baby also likes the look of the bear. It came highly recommended to me and I highly recommend also.

If you can’t get it working, make sure you have ready the instructions and have removed the plastic strip (which they have in place so people can try in the shop, I saw some reviews where people must not have realised this. I use this when I’m desperate to get my baby to sleep, he is obsessed with the lights and the music/stories are beautiful. I LOVE IT!

Does not do what it says. Cannot sooth baby to sleep as the timer turns off after maximum of 45 seconds before pressing the button again. No setting to leave it running. Both lights and sounds run no longer than 45 seconds. Shop told us 45 minutes- we will be attempting to take this back. Very disappointing 1st Christmas present for baby.

I bought this last week and found as the other bad reviews state - 1-2 minutes is the run time. Plus it does not come on with soothing as stated on the box when a baby makes a noise. Took it back to the store and they fully tested it - to come to same conclusion, it simply does not work well.

Waste of money, is not as described. Says 15,30 45 but does last only seconds not minutes. Total money waste. Another junk added at home

The light show on the ceiling was amazing! The sounds were ok but not as good as the lights, a complete joy to watch! However the battery life is non existent, we used it for barely a week before it died. If I had known I would have chosen a different product.

Baby man was gifted this last Xmas and it is his go-to when it's time for bed. He likes to sleep with the lullabies playing but you can also change the play list to "storytime". The colour changing lights projected up on the ceiling has him mesmerised. Also, If he sties in the middle of the night, the sensor picks up his sounds and automatically starts playing lullabies for a period of time. Puts him right back to sleep. Only downside is that it tends to go through batteries pretty quick Absolutely love this product!

I have had this for around a month and I have had to exchange it in the first 2 weeks. Only now to find out that it goes through batteries very quick. Unfortunate.
