Tommee Tippee Twist & Click Nappy Disposal Unit Cotton White

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have the bin in the nursery for daytime changes. It is definitely good at controlling odours. But I don’t find it any more effective than a regular disposable nappy bag, which we use for night changes. It is handy to have it there and ready to just chuck the dirty nappies into. Refills can be quite expensive. I’d recommend trying if you’re interested, but think we could go without it in the future.

Line the convenience of this bin but the Tommee Tippee liners are lacking. I’ve found more affordable liners that better contain the smell!

Impossible to use single handedly, lid gets stuck and nothing to stand on to stop it moving when trying to turn the inner twist mechanism. Stops smells to an extent but definitely not air tight. Ok for now but wouldn't buy again.

Much easier than using individual nappy bags! Very happy that I decided to purchase this bin.

Very misleading product. In theory, the plastic bags should twist and make each nappy airtight to eliminate smell. However, the twists are very loose and does not contain any smell at all. In fact, I have to clean the bin once a week after I empty it because the smell (even when bags are removed) is awful! I have to empty it outside because as soon as you open the bin it stinks out my whole house. There is literally no difference from using an ordinary bin other than you have to buy expensive bags for it!

Had this bin for a few months now, having swapped from another which was challenging to find refills for. Swapping was a huge mistake. The smell is so bad, it makes the whole room stink.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Third child, and I've never used one of these nor known how they work so was very excited to try! Took me a few mins to figure out how it actually works as I had no idea, loaded it all up and was ready to go. So I get the principle behind it, but the execution isn't 100% great. I don't know what kind of material the bin is made from, it reminds me of the bamboo plastic, but it absorbs ALL the smell. No matter how much I cleaned, used bin smell stuff etc the smell lingers. It initially started in the living room, now it lives in the porch. Perhaps a metal lining would help? The mechanism itself can be stiff, and a bit faffy, it can't be turned one handed easily. The good bits, it's convenient! When it's raining or you don't want to leave the ever wiggling baby alone to go out stuff in the outside bin, it's handy. My eldest had fun turning the handle! I'm not sure if the bags are degradable, I hate that nappies exist but we don't get on with reusable to it's a necessary evil, but it would be good to know what eco credentials it has. Overall, I guess if I was a first time mum, I would have loved it, but third time with the eldest being 10, it's just ok and I can live without it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a great nappy bin. Very hygienic. It controls the odour of nappies. and holds a lot of nappies. Very decent looking bin. The quality of the bin is also good. I would say it is needed if you have a baby. Very easy to set up and use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 2nd nappy bin that we got as it's so good! It contains any smells from the nappies and it looks good in the room. It's easy to put together and to change cassettes when needed. It's bags are made from recycled plastic which is great for the environment and it's not too expensive!

We ordered the cotton white but received the dark grey/black. It even said cotton white on the box which had been re-taped. Annoying as doesn’t fit our decor and was advised the white is now discontinued. Was compensated ten dollars for the trouble but website was not updated. Great bin otherwise and would recommend. The refills are too expensive though and we get refills of a different brand.

Bought this for my daughter, first child. great price.
