byPanda is a great helpline for any parent suffering from prenatal and post-natal depression, I personally have used panda so i didnt even hesitate to donate money to them

Great service at the Maribyrnong store
byGreat product, but what was a standout was that the warehouse staff noticed that I was struggling to install the seat and they came out and helped. Don't think I've experienced similar service very often.

Perinatal mental health challenges, affect more than 100,000 families across Australia every year. <br>For some parents, pregnancy and early parenthood is the first time they’ve ever experienced significant changes to their mental health. Others may come to pregnancy and parenting with a history of mental ill-health. You don’t need to have severe symptoms of mental health concern to reach out to PANDA or utilise their resources. They assist and speak to thousands of families about a broad range of issues that come up during pregnancy and early parenthood.
How does PANDA help?
PANDA supports people throughout pregnancy up until their baby is 12 months old. The free National Helpline provides a safe and confidential space for any expecting or new parent needing support with the challenges of becoming a parent.
They also provide a range of support, stories and resources on their website. For community and health professionals, the PANDA Learning Hub has free short courses you can do learn more about perinatal mental health.
How will my donation help PANDA and the work they do?
With your support, PANDA can continue their amazing work in the community and introduce new initiatives or extend their support in various locations.
Your donation will go towards the following initiatives:
- Funds translation of PANDA resources into different languages to increase accessibility
- Providing printed PANDA resources for community groups to share with new & expecting parents
- Campaigns to raise awareness of perinatal anxiety and depression
- Funds PANDA courses for health professionals to educate them on how to work with families experiencing perinatal mental health challenges
- Contributes to funding PANDA Helpline counsellors, for example bi-lingual counsellors or extending Helpline hours.
