The steriliser bag will contain hot water and steam. To avoid the risk of scalding and burns take extra care when handling, and only touch the cool area. Inspect the microwave sterilising bag before each use. Discard immediately at the first sign of damage. Adult use only. This is not a toy. Plastic bags can be dangerous. To avoid the risk of suffocation, keep out of the reach of babies and children. Only sterilise items which state they are microwave safe. Do not use to sterilise electric breast pump air tubes as they should not be cleaned. Using less than 60ml of water may lead to distortion of items. Do not overload. Do not place the sterilising bag on a metallic grill provided with microwaves. Only use in a domestic microwave. Do not place in a conventional oven or grill. Do not use on grill function in a combination microwave oven. Follow the instructions for your microwave. Be sure to follow the time chart as heating longer than the recommended time may distort the shape of items inside. If no gap is left for the steam to escape (i.e. the bag is fully zipped), then the bag will pop open during sterilisation. If this occurs, the items inside the bag will not be sterile and you should dispose of the bag immediately. Record each use and dispose of the microwave sterilising bag responsibly after 30 uses. Always allow cooling for at least 2 minutes before removing from the microwave. Wash hands thoroughly before handling sterilised items.
