Breastmilk is liquid gold and I was so worried freezing some that the bags would leak when I would defrost them or when storing in the freezer! The medela bags were the only ones I used and had no problems freezing or defrosting my milk!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The size of the packets were good. I liked the bag that contians all the packets that can be sealed also. The label was easy to write on. Packets can be stood up to pour and layed down for storage in freezer or fridge. Instructions were easy to follow. Packaging was a bit confusing though. On it it has an asterisk and an explanation like there was supposed to be information with an asterisk for clarification. It did on the website but not the package. I included a photo of this. What I didn’t think was very good was the opening, it didn’t seem to open very far and I had to put my fingers in to open all the way. Pouring in was still easy though so it’s sufficient. The duel seal up top so you can have as much air out as possible and still be leak proof I thought was a bit close together. So I didn’t feel like I could get the liquid right up to it for fear of the milk going through.

It was easy to store expressed milk and freeze it, but also easy to open the bags and access the expressed milk. After your breastfeeding journey ends they would also make a handy storage bag for puréed foods to be stored in too. Great little product!

I have spilt milk countless times trying to squeeze a bag into a spout shape with one hand, while holding the bottle with another, only for milk to escape diagonally over the zip seal. This has changed that and allows for easy pouring with the same flat freezing ability. I won’t be going back to the old breast milk storage bags and I hope this just becomes the norm on supermarket shelves.

The only problem I found with the bags was it was difficult to get an accurate measurement using the bag alone. I used a bottle to measure the amount and write it onto the bag that way

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s easy to poor milk into and the measurements on the side are great. The label section is also really helpful. But the best part is the poorer on the side, a lot of other brands do not have this.
