Joie Armour FX Car Seat Midnight

Went and bought this in store today. They didn’t have a car seat fitter so tried myself in the car park and my friend and I just couldn’t get it tight enough, broke out in sweat trying all we could, it was so insanely fiddly! I hated the straps over the top as they were so awkward and in the way and did not feel secure, the whole top still wobbled so matter how we tried to place them. Exchanged it then and there for a Britax instead and SO much happier with what I got!!

The worst car seat purchased. I purchased this car seat 3 months ago, however my bubs back is always tilted, and the level is never correct. The seat is very fidgety despite having babybunting install the car seat. I do not recommend. Even the lady that installed the seat was rude barely explained how to loosen the straps or use the seat as a capsule. Don’t recommend

I bought this car seat after a recommendation by staff for a slim fitting seat (small car) with good safety ratings and comfort. And while it ticks all those boxes and worked fine when it was rear facing, as soon as we forward faced the car seat, the straps are so difficult to pull tight enough and the pully thing often gets twisted in the lever making it difficult to loosen as well. We gave it a good try but for safety reasons, we’ve had to buy a different car seat to forward face facing seat, well short of the 4 years we were expecting it to last.

Great car seat at very reasonable price! Has all the same features as the britax

This is by far the worst car seat I’ve ever come across. The straps are a nightmare to loosen and tighten and the buckle is beyond tight on my little one. We went into baby bunting wanting to buy a britax and were talked out of if by the sales consultant (and as first time parents we trusted her opinion) to buy this instead. Now we think that baby bunting just needed to move stock and are going to buy another car seat. My little one has an infasecure in our other car and loves the car, in this seat… screaming the whole way. STAY CLEAR!!

We bought this seat as first time grandparents who wanted the security of a safe, reputable seat that would last for future grandchildren but would also be cost affective, seeing as it wasn't going to used on a daily basis. We are very happy with our choice, knowing there are better seats out there but also they are much more expensive & this seat met our safety requirements. Installation was easy to do and getting baby in and out is no more difficult than it is on the more expensive car seats. (Someone needs to invent a safe rear facing car seat option that is easier to get baby in and out, especially for people who are not very tall!!) I would happily recommend this car seat as a cost effective purchase for new parents & grandparents.

Great seat, purchased for when i take my grandson out , easy to install and use.

I previously bought another of these car seats because mine was in a crash and upon fitting it to my car I noticed the head rest makes a loud cracking noise when touched. I took it back to baby bunting to have it looked at . They said it will need to be sent off to be repaired but said it would be a long wait and gave me a hire seat. That’s all well and good but I’ve been waiting a month for my car seat I brought and they still saying it could be a fair while before I get my seat back. Last time I called they said it was still sitting there and hadn’t even been sent off. This is not acceptable. If it’s gonna take that long refund my money. I would like to be using the car seat I just brought not some hire seat.

Worst car seat ever, I have a MaxiCosi one which us way better , This one when in Rear facing you Can’t remove the side strap when sitting your child and the whole thing is not sturdy enough amd I can tell that my son is not comfortable in it as well

I really loved my Joie Armor fx, it was super easy to install and adjust, and it fit really well in my Honda CRV. But unfortunately I didn’t realise at the time of purchase that the crotch buckle strap isn’t adjustable, and I have a very big baby over the 98th percentile and so already at 6 months I’ve had to buy a different car seat because the harness was cutting into my son’s legs and crushing his groin. Such a pity because he had plenty of room left to grow otherwise.

I bought this a month ago and love the feature with Isofix and easy to adjust. Very soft and comfortable. My baby loves it

I have been using this chair for 4 months. It is great value and looks good on paper in terms of its features. But there are some issues which prevent me from recommending this chair to others: - isofix cannot be tightened enough. This is a big safety flaw for the chair. I have now installed the chair using seat belt. - the crotch buckle cannot be adjusted.
