Dreambaby Lever Door Lock

I brought 4 of these thinking they were going to be fantastic like many other dreambaby products I've purchased, but sadly the actually product is badly designed, hard to operate and not user friendly especially on a daily basis. I've since brought other items elsewhere that are fantastic and quick. I'd say dreambaby should go back to the drawing board on this one.

It's great but it has a huge flaw. If the part where the door lever shifts, it is very hard to get back into place and it has damaged our door by rubbing on it. This needs to be address and improved by the designer.

Really difficult to function extremely hard lock my skin came in between the latch system pathetic purchase I took the handle off instead of putting this one imagine my struggle

Ok, so I bought this product to keep a 1 year old Border Collie in her bed (Laundry) at night. Took 2 nights work out that if you push the handle down with enough force it rotates the product on the slight on the other side of the door and the latch releases. The dog is supposed to be as smart as a 5 to 7 year old child. So maybe this will be just fine for toddlers up to about that age - up to 15 - 20kg. Easy to fit, I did try tightening it with force, but no luck.

Not sure how they’ll be in the future but it has solved the problem of a curious 18minyhbold that loves to stick things down the toilet. The latches are very strong to engage, to the point it was almost keeping my wife out of rooms also!

Not the best- you have to unscrew your door handle. Not compatible with all doors either.

It’s very stiff and hard to open. I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone who has weakness in their hands, carpel tunnel etc. I couldn’t get it open when it was off the door.

Weirdly enough I got this because my cat kept jumping on our door handles and letting himself into every room. It works great at keeping him out.

Works well at keeping our toddler in his room.....

Little bit hard to open and close but pinch near the base of the lock and it works

I purchased the lever lock less than 3 months ago. It has been used only as designed, but despite this, the lever has already broken. While we love the design, the quality has faltered.

Simple and effective and no nasty glue to rip the paint off the door when removed

This child proof gadget contains simple instructions and is very easy to install. Love that I can keep my toddler from opening the door yet it still allows us to open it ourselves. Not annoying at all and super helpful for us parents!

I love this product. My son loves opening doors and while I enjoy watching his little mind develop, having this product prevents him from going places he shouldn’t. I love the added security I feel having the lever door lock.

This lock is so helpful! I will definitely need to buy more. Originally I only wanted one for the bathroom. I don't have stress that he'll open the door and hurt himself anymore. I like that its out of reach and once he can reach, he still won't know how to open it which is great. But eventually it'll get removed! I've told my coworkers how great this simple invention is and how safe I feel with it! Awesome!
